Description

Ministry is an American industrial metal band founded by lead singer Al Jourgensen in 1981. Originally a new wave synthpop outfit, Ministry changed its style to industrial metal in the late 1980s. Ministry found mainstream success in the early 1990s with its most successful album Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs (1992) and touring as part of the Lollapalooza festival. Uploader Speak Great to see that there is some interest in this torrent who knew that these guys had such a body of work hah, just kidding, all of you and then some.....



After 27 years of performing, Jourgensen decided to end the band in 2008, saying a reunion would never happen. However, in August 2011, a reunion was announced, when Ministry confirmed they would play one of their first shows in four years at the Wacken Open Air festival in August 2012. A Swarm of the Sun is Erik Nilsson and Jakob Berglund. Their third album The Rifts, released the 30th of January 2015, is a bleak and beautiful journey through the innermost landscapes of the heart and soul. A brooding album about losing hope, dreams falling apart, isolation and final moments of clarity and redemption. Unquestionably, this is the band’s darkest and most emotional album to date.



Formed 2007 in Stockholm, Sweden, they released the critically acclaimed EP The King of Everything on Erik’s record label Version Studio. The Swedish duo followed up with the full-length album Zenith, released on August 30, 2010.
